Darkcrawl is a turn-based roguelike dungeon crawler with a charming pixel art aesthetic. Players can choose from five distinct classes, each boasting unique attributes and skill trees tailored to different playstyles. As they delve into the dungeon's depths, they must face a variety of formidable enemies and collect an array of powerful items. Each class offers its own strengths and weaknesses, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience for every player.
Despite the traditional turn-based combat system, Darkcrawl offers fluid movement by calculating each turn while the player is moving. Both players and enemies operate within a limited field of vision, adding a layer of stealth to each encounter. Players can discover and utilize a variety of items, including swords, bows, wands, armor, and potions. Collecting these items and gaining experience is crucial for survival as you strive to avoid the many ways to meet your end in the dungeon.
